Interests:
Impact of addiction including alcohol and other drugs, and gambling on affected family, carers and supporters. Lived and living experience, and peer support. Role and function of volunteers and volunteering. Advocacy, research and treatment.

Biography:
I am the programme manager at Family Drug and Gambling Help, a programme of Self Help Addiction Resource Centre (SHARC), and have been working in the human services field for over twenty-five years across a number of fields including alcohol and other drugs, gambling, men’s behaviour change and family violence, couple and family work, community health, acquired brain injury, and acute and ambulatory services. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Social Work in Management and Human Services, and Master of Counselling. I have also been involved in research projects with Beyond Blue, Deakin University, ARBIAS and Monash University.
